Different Minds Necessary Voices
Different Minds, Necessary Voices, A Movement for Awareness, Belonging, and Justice. We Are Better Together.
About Us
Different Minds Necessary Voices is a global movement celebrating autism, neurodiversity, and inclusion by centering the voices of autistic, neurodivergent, and nonverbal students and their families. Founded on a legacy of service, advocacy, and justice, DMNV is dedicated to building legal and community power while advancing systemic change in special education. We believe every mind has value, every voice matters, and we are better together.
As a national advocacy organization, DMNV provides comprehensive support across school, community, legal, and business settings. Our mission is rooted in empowering parents, advocating for civil rights, and transforming systems to recognize neurobiological needs, honor student voices, and prepare disabled children for lives of dignity, opportunity, and belonging. We envision a world where every disabled child receives an education that supports their thriving and celebrates their unique contributions to our communities.
